The History of Breeding

My adventures with dogs have started when I was a little girl. Her name was Bambi. She's supposed to be a Polish sheep-dog, but has grew up to be an "international" breed. This cheerful mongrel has proved to be a constant nuisance (pain in the neck?): she wouldn't obey, was on the run all the time, disappearing to show up in the middle of the night. Bambi has got sick (trachoma) and died at age of three. It was a terrible ordeal for me.

Then came Alma, funny cheerful Polish shepherd. She has been my play companion and devoted friend for 16 years. She was very smart and loved unconditionally the whole family. It was then that I understood that consistent approach and work with your dog will bring desired outcomes. Alma was my pride and joy and I think about her even now with great sentiment. Then came Ada, a beautiful and black dachshund. Her previous owner has turned her into a toy for his children which effected in broken tail, torn ears and wounds all over her body - the testimony of horrible treatment of an innocent animal. For 12 years she's never stopped to astonish me with her devotion and gratefulness for our care and attention.

Zadra was huge black schnauzer. She's moved into my house, because her previous owner didn't want to be her master anymore. Throughout her whole seven years long life she's served us with devotion. She's guarded the house, scarred off uninvited guests and has been always inclined to play

In 1986 we registered our kennel under the name "Z przemoznej Chetki" no 1557/p.
All my dogs have been terrible gluttons hence the name: " From Overpowering Hunger". Ada and Zadra have won many medals and cups at national exhibitions. My circumstances at the time didn't allow me to start dog breeding, so my first steps in this field started from exhibitions, which gave me a lot of crucial knowledge and networking before I started my own kennel. I also had an opportunity to find out more about the breed that had fascinated me then.
It was Bernese Mountain Dog.
Thanks to my extensive knowledge I was fully prepared to take care of the first litter born in my kennel, proper development of puppies, both physical and mental. I was also able to share my knowledge with buyers. And finally my dream has come true, as I picked the breed that has seduced me with its great character and beauty.

At the moment we share our house with 4 Bernese dogs. Three bitches: Fanta Gorzowska Panorama, Gaja Gorzowska Panorama, Dobranoc Duch Wrzosowisk and two dogs: Car Z Przemoznej Chetki and tree havanese, Visakoivun YUPPIE YENTE, Disneyland SHADOW OF THE NIGHT i Visakoivun INFANTA FINLANDESA
78 spuppies were born in our kennel so far, vast majority of which have won and still wins numerous awards at national and international exhibitions. Some of female puppies from my breeds have started new kennels on Baltic Coast.
A lot of Bernese lovers have joined my circle of friends. Let me thank you for words of encouragement and critique. I wish all the breeders the best of luck.

And remember - Dogs are your best friends, love them, even if they don't fulfil you expectations.
